Southern Deaf Golf Camp
Will take place June 13 - 14, 2005 at the beautiful Marcus Pointe Golf Club in Pensacola, Florida. The camp is open to all Deaf and Hard of Hearing children ages 6 and up. There will be four sessions available with a group size not to exceed 7 golfers. The cost for the camp is $15 per student. Each participant will receive 2 hours of golf instruction in Sign Language, a SDGC golf shirt, instruction booklet, goody bag, lunch, and refreshments. Space is limited, so be sure to register as soon as possible. Parents and chaperones are welcome and encouraged to stay for their child's session. DHHS staff will be on site all day to be of assistance. Proper golf attire is required with shorts/pants and a collared shirt. No jeans please.
